Hive Worm Plush Revealed by Numskull

Lot 2 is one of the most popular games in the video game world, so it makes sense that the game’s official merchandise is starting to expand. When talking about video game plushes, people usually refer to more fun games like Animal Crossing or Pokemon Legends plushes; however, there’s now a cute little stuffed animal that players can take home from Destiny 2’s lore.

Hugs are certainly nothing new in the video game world. There will always be a segment of gamers who want to take some of their video game characters out of the game and into real life. There’s also no shortage of video game merchandise, such as Genshin Impact memorabilia or Stardew Valley plushies, to name a few. As a general rule, though, things like this are a bit rarer when we’re talking about looters like Destiny 2. However, there’s one company that’s making these kinds of stuffed animals a bit more common with its burgeoning line of Destiny 2 creations.

Numskull Designs took to its official Twitter account to announce what is billed as the next design in its line of Destiny 2 plushes. Having previously released a baby Fallen, this time the cuddly toy is an adorable baby Hive Worm. While these creatures aren’t usually something fans of the long-running game franchise want on their lap, this time around, the toys make the Hive Worm very cuddly.

The release of this stuffed animal is just the latest item that fans of Destiny 2 can get excited about. Those who want this cute little Hive Worm can order it now from websites like Just Geek for $29.99 each. Once they get it home, they’ll find that one of the cool features of this stuffed animal is that it lives up to its video game origins through its glow-in-the-dark eyes.

When it comes to the title that made the hug possible, it sounds like it will get support for a while. In addition to a vacancy that seems to indicate that Destiny 2 will be supported at least for the next decade, the franchise looks set to expand to mobile devices. Of course, it seems that a version of Destiny landing on iOS and Android devices could be very different from what people expect in the game, with the focus potentially being much more on the PvP side.

One thing seems certain. If the Destiny franchise is indeed supported for more than a decade, it looks like there’s plenty of opportunity for new plushies to be pushed out by Numskull and other companies. Looks like this cute little Hive Worm is just the beginning.

Lot 2 is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
