Genshin Impact Fan Shares Impressive Artifact Set Design

A Genshin Impact fan shares a beautiful Amber-inspired concept for a brand new artifact called Outrider’s Courage.

The two most important parts of each character’s build-in Genshin impact are probably artifacts and weapons. While players can acquire a desired weapon by wishing on the game’s limited weapon banner, obtaining the perfect artifact set can take hundreds of attempts in an artifact domain.

Each set in the game has a special design with a unique backstory that often inspires players to create their own concepts. A new post on Genshin Impact’s official subreddit shows an interesting fan-created concept for a new set of artifacts.

Reddit user bitter_decaf has unveiled an impressive design of a new five-star artifact set called Outrider’s Courage. Each artifact in the game has five different pieces, each of which can give different main stats. Fans absolutely loved the design of the set as the post garnered over 2.2k upvotes. While bitter_decaf hasn’t revealed what inspired them for the design, multiple comments in the comment section claim it’s clearly based on fan-favorite Pyro bow user Amber. The concept doesn’t include the two-part and four-part bonuses associated with every artifact set in Genshin Impact, so fans started to propose their own ideas. Click here to see the full thread.

Reddit user Littleman88 shared an interesting concept for the Outrider’s Courage bonuses. Their proposal includes giving a simple 20% damage increase on the elemental ability damage for the two-part bonus. However, the four-part bonus is much more complex and includes giving Amber’s Charged Attack an attack speed boost after she uses her elemental ability. This effect lasts for 6 seconds and can be activated every 6 seconds. This interesting bonus concept was a clear favorite in the community as it was voted over 500 times.

Some comments in the comment section argue that bitter_decaf should try to create a new Dendro artifact in honor of the new great region called Sumeru. While developer HoYoverse hasn’t officially revealed Sumeru’s arrival yet, dozens of leaks have already pretty much confirmed that Genshin Impact’s story is headed for this mysterious region. While the majority of the community is clearly excited about exploring a new large region, some of them have pointed to an interesting problem when it comes to agricultural artifacts.

The addition of a new element means there will be a new type of elemental damage that can be dropped by Goblets, meaning it will be even harder to get the desired main stat on this artifact. It should be noted that Goblets are the only artifact that can take elemental damage to their main stats, making them one of the most important parts of a character’s build.

Genshin impact is now available on mobile, PC, PS4 and PS5. A Switch version is in development.
